Join the Fun at the First Ever River Park Color Run!

Get ready to run, walk, and get covered in COLOR at River Park’s very first Color Run on May 31st! This fun, family-friendly event is open to everyone—students, staff, families, and the whole community! No matter your fitness level, this is an event you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re racing to the finish line, strolling with friends, or pushing a stroller, we welcome all participants! 🌟

Here’s how it works:

  • The course is approximately one mile long, with color stations set up along the route. As you run or walk, volunteers will throw vibrant Holi powder at you—think of it like a giant paint party on the move! 🎉
  • Participants will be grouped into heats so everyone gets their moment of colorful glory. And after everyone has crossed the finish line, things get even more exciting with a “Color War” finale where everyone will throw more powder at each other for a truly rainbow-colored finish! 🌈

  • When: May 31st (9:30am-11:30am – approximately)
  • Where: River Park Elementary School
  • What to Expect: A colorful, fun-filled run with Holi powder, music, and the chance to get messy while having a blast! 💥
  • Distance: About 1 mile

Participant Registration:

Participant Registration Opens: Monday, March 17
  • Registration Fee:
    • $15 if registered by 4/11/25 ** FREE registration for River Park Teachers and Staff 🎉
    • $20 after 4/11/25 (Registration Closes 5/2)
  • What’s Included with Registration:
    • A Color Run T-shirt (to wear on race day)
    • 2 Holi powder packets
    • A Finishers Medal 🏅

Extra Color for the “Color War” Finale: Want more Holi powder for the Color War? You can purchase additional packets when you register or on-site at the event.

*The River Park PTGO is committed to ensuring all students have the opportunity to participate in the Color Run. If the registration fee is a barrier, please register your student and select the “Angel Sponsor” option on the registration form!

Sponsorship Opportunities:

We have some exciting sponsorship opportunities to help make this event amazing (and reduce participation cost)!

  • T-shirt Sponsor: Your company or family name will be featured on the back of all Color Run participant T-shirts. All participants will receive and Official 2025 River Park Color Run T-shirt to be worn on the day of the event. Promote your business or your family’s support with your logo or mark on the back of the shirt! Cost: $200/ space (Limited to 12 spaces). Each T-Shirt Sponsor receives one (1) complimentary Color Run T-shirt. 

  • Color Station Sponsor: There will be 6-8 color stations along the course, each stocked with 50lbs of powder. You and your group will have the fun opportunity to throw color at participants as they race by! Color stations will include a table, squirt bottles to help distribute holi powder, and (if available, a tent for shade).  Color Station Sponsors will also get signage at their station and social media shout-outs. This is a perfect way for families or businesses to team up and create an unforgettable experience!

    • Full Station: $500 – includes 8 complimentary color run t-shirts
    • Half Station (share with another sponsor): $250 – includes 4 complimentary color run t-shirts
    • Quarter Station (share with 3 other sponsors): $125 – includes 2 complimentary color run t-shirts
