The River Park Parent Teacher Governance Organization (PTGO) advocates for the education and success of all children while building a strong school community. We organize fundraising and community-building events to support our school and our children. By joining and participating in the PTGO,  your family helps improve River Park Elementary and invest in student success!

5 Ways to Get Involved:

JOIN PTGO

The River Park PTGO invites all families to be involved and invest interest in the River Park community. Join us by supporting one of our existing committees or upcoming projects. Join us by volunteering time or funds. Join us by participating in one of many community events. We welcome your involvement in all ways!

ATTEND

We invite you to learn more about the PTGO by attending one our meetings. During our meetings, financial matters are discussed, events are planned, and important decisions that affect your child are voted on. We value your opinion and would love your feedback and support!

VOLUNTEER

We would love your support and input even if you only have an hour to spare. Volunteering can be at an event in-person or volunteering your skills at home to help facilitate an event or project. There are tons of volunteer opportunities and we are always open to new ideas so please reach out and let us know how you'd like to help!

COLLECT

There are many FREE ways you can help. Link your Harris Teeter VIC Card and your Amazon account (via Amazon Smiles) to our PTGO. Search for Cameron Park PTGO to create the link and raise money for your child's educational needs.

SUPPORT

The PTGO organizes and hosts several fundraisers throughout the year. The Read-a-thon and Spring Auction are our big events but there are also smaller events throughout the year. Show your support by attending and participating in these events!
