How to Get Involved:
There are so many ways to support the PTGO! We host dozens of events throughout the school year and rely on parent support to carryout these efforts. You can help by donating goods, donating funds, volunteering time, volunteering talents, and by joining the PTGO and helping with decision making and direction! There is truly something for everyone and it takes a BIG group effort for our PTGO initiatives to be successful.
The ways you can be involved below are NOT exclusive of each other! We’d love to have your support, your volunteer efforts, AND for you to join PTGO as voting member! Please feel free to be involved as much as you feel comfortable with 🙂Â
Support!
We welcome your support! Attending PTGO events and participating in PTGO initiatives are a great way to provide support. Come grab a sweet treat and connect with the River Park Community at the Ice Cream Social, encourage your student to participate in our annual Read-a-Thon, donate a food item for a Teacher Appreciation Event, show your River Park Pride by purchasing Spirit Wear, attend our PTGO bi-monthly meetings.... there are so many ways to support the PTGO. Donate Items or Volunteer!
It takes many volunteers and donated items to facilitate the many PTGO-sponsored events that happen every year. From bringing a food item to stock the teacher fridge to helping to plan and organize events, there are so many ways to volunteer. All of our active event sign up needs are on our home page or you can click the button below to see our active sign up needs. We ALWAYS need more help to plan and organize events - if you are interested, fill out the volunteer interest form and we will reach out with some immediate ways you can contribute!
Join PTGO!
We'd love to have your support as a voting member of the PTGO. Our PTGO is lead by an executive committee comprised of parent and teacher volunteers. We plan events, vote on budget allocations, and ensure the purpose or PTGO is fulfilled every year. If you'd like a say in how our $60,000 operating budget is allocated or what events are planned each year, please join the PTGO! it is easy to join with a low-cost of $5 per family (if cost is prohibiting factor for you, please send us an email - we welcome all River Park Families and do not want cost to be a restricting factor for anyone!)
